Curative actions are intended to resolve an anomaly that requires immediate resolution. Without claiming to be completely exhaustive, we can say that the majority of curative actions fall into the following categories:
correction , which involves reworking the product to bring it into line with customer expectations and specifications;
derogation , which consists in delivering a non-conforming product to the customer with the acceptance of a competent authority, ideally with the acceptance of the customer ;
downgrading , which consists in delivering a product that does not meet initially defined expectations by downgrading it, i.e. by offering it at a lower price or by reducing its possible field of use or functionality;
