4.1 Give the Lean worksite its full value
You need to initiate a Lean project like any other, with a goal, objectives, an agenda and performance monitoring. You can't approach such a project superficially, if you want to see results over the long term.
In particular, you need to integrate human resources as the main force in initiating a Lean project. It is important, indeed crucial, to unite a company's entire workforce, to make the process intuitive, so as to anchor it in the corporate mindset. This process will stabilize its performance; it will enable it to develop its practices in the long term, and inspire new recruits from the moment they join. This element is a fundamental principle of ISO900:2005 "Employee involvement".
