Is the opening meeting systematic?

The opening meeting is systematic, but it can be more or less formal, ranging from a meeting in a dedicated room to a simple briefing of the people involved. Its level of formality varies according to the type of audit, the circumstances, the size of the organization being audited, the duration of the on-site audit, the familiarity of the organization being audited with the audit process, whether or not it knows the organization, and whether it has already been audited.
