Do auditors need to be IRCA or ICA qualified?
IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) or ICA (Institut de Certification des Audditeurs, issued by AFNOR Certification) qualifications are useful for the recognition of auditors' skills on the market (employment or service market). This type of qualification is not necessary for internal audits. Training auditors in internal auditing, in the context of your company, will be just as effective. Auditing in pairs (a "junior" auditor and an "experienced" auditor) is also an effective way of learning this activity pragmatically.
