1. What are the requirements of ISO 9001:2015?
Documentation requirements can be found in chapter 7.5 of the standard, under the heading "Documented information".
This change in vocabulary compared with previous versions of the standard is the result of the harmonization of management system standards.
The term "documented information" combines the former terms "documented procedure", "document" and "record":
whenever there is a question of formalizing ways of doing things, the standards use the generic expression "keeping documented information up to date", which can be applied to an operating procedure, a documented procedure, a quality manual, a quality plan or any other object containing information that can be updated;
