In the context of hazard studies, certain aggregations are more frequently encountered than others. Among the most common are :
grouping of equivalent pipes ;
the aggregation of dangerous phenomena associated with different breach sizes;
the aggregation of hazardous phenomena associated with the functioning or non-functioning of mitigation MMRs for the same feared event.
