5. Our advice

5.1 Remember that you are responsible for classifying your waste.

The responsibility for classification rests with you, and requires information on your raw materials and processes that your service providers do not have. Ask your service providers for advice on how to classify your waste, but assign the codes yourself and fill in the "waste producer" section of the slip.
