7. Hazard study

The hazard study must justify that the measures taken will ensure that an acceptable level of risk is not exceeded, whatever the operating conditions (see Danger study: drawing up a non-technical summary [FIC 0027] ).

It consists of the following components:

• a non-technical summary ;

• a description of accidents likely to occur;

• a description of the nature and extent of the consequences of a possible accident;
