What is the Conseil supérieur des installations classées?

This is the former name of the Conseil supérieur de la prévention des risques technologiques. The change of name took place in 2010 (article 3 of the ordonnance n° 2010-418 du 27 avril 2010 ) harmonizing provisions relating to the safety and declaration of public utility of gas, hydrocarbon and chemical transport pipelines.

What is the composition of the Conseil supérieur de la prévention des risques technologiques?

It is made up of representatives of the following stakeholders: the authorities, environmental protection associations, operators, employees working in classified facilities, mayors, inspectors or former inspectors...
