4. Mistakes to avoid

4.1 Don't underestimate the volume of your activities

Once you've defined your position (D, DC, E, A or even A with Seveso SH or SB status), you need to initiate the appropriate procedure to operate your business in compliance with current regulations.

When describing your activities, we advise you to anticipate possible increases in capacity, so as to avoid having to update your operating conditions too early.

Example: If you operate an industrial laundry subject to declaration for a laundry capacity of 4 tons/day (heading 2340), we advise you to apply for registration for a capacity of 6 tons/day.
