4. Set up your Safety Management System

The Safety Management System is implemented by working groups (management and operational).

However, the implementation of the SMS requires the prior identification of major accident risks, as well as the technical and organizational means to prevent the occurrence of such an event or limit its consequences.

The Safety Management System is therefore based on the work carried out during the detailed risk analysis, itself a central element of the hazard analysis.
