4.1 Summary of 1996 European intercomparison results (table )

• Butanol measurements: dilution factors at the perception threshold obtained

  • Results obtained: 19 to 174 ppb (reference value in prEN 13725 project: 40 ppb).

• Butanol measurements: criteria obtained

  • Participants: 19 laboratories, including 10 fc, 1 Afnor and 8 yes/no.

  • Audit (mainly, verification of CEN calibration for the jury and olfactometer): 14 laboratories were "accepted" (including 9 fc, 0 Afnor because jury selection according to Afnor standard NF X 43-101 and 5 yes/no).
