4.1 Anticipate inspection preparations
Inspection preparation is not limited to the time immediately preceding the inspection, in the case of an announced inspection. As in the case of an unannounced inspection, you may have little time to react, since the time in which you are notified of the date and subject of the inspection may be very short.
In general, it is important to be vigilant throughout the operation of the plant, and to be prepared for the possibility of an inspection visit:
keeping and regularly updating documents and data relating to your plant;
anticipating that the person, internal or external to the company, who is likely to assist you during the inspection...
