2.1 Environmental associations

Certain associations are approved by the French government (Ministry of Ecology), in accordance with articles L. 141-1 et seq. and R. 141-1 et seq. of Code de l’environnement . Approval is granted by the Ministry of Ecology, for a period of five years, when associations meet the following three conditions: they must have filed their declaration of existence with the prefecture at least three years previously, their bylaws must state that their purpose is to protect the environment,...
