3.1 Check for electromagnetic emissions

Today's machines are highly protected, and the generators are no longer the transmitters they once were, polluting the whole neighborhood with their radio waves. At the time, it was impossible to listen to any radio or TV broadcasts around the factory using HF welding machines.

Despite the manufacturers' best efforts, you must remain vigilant in case :

  • frequent damage to electrical or electronic equipment;

  • your machine heats up and the operator cannot touch his work surface;

  • you see small electric arcs between machine parts;

  • machines start and stop by themselves;...
