7. Mistakes to avoid

Do not take into account material ageing caused by the environment in which it is used, or even by this environment (humidity, for example) coupled with electrical stresses themselves.

Do not dissociate two simultaneous requirements. On the contrary, it's perfectly possible, for example, to have electrical enclosures designed for use in damp environments, and others that may be subjected to thermal stresses, in the knowledge that it's imperative to know how to differentiate between the two types of parts.

We often come back to comparing the relevance of having to manage 2 products, which can represent optimizations in terms of material costs, or 1 single product, which generally favors costs and storage management. But it's a question that needs to be addressed before any production decision is taken.
