1. Taking advantage of business secrecy protection
France has adopted a specific regime for the protection of business secrecy, by une loi du 30 juillet 2018, transposant la directive européenne 2016/943 du 8 juin 2016, sur la protection des savoir-faire et des informations commerciales non divulguées (secrets d’affaires) contre l’obtention, l’utilisation et la divulgation illicites .
This system has been supplemented by le décret d’application n° 2018-1126 du 11 décembre 2018 relatif à la protection du secret des affaires pour l’application de la loi précitée .
