2.1 The project manager

Like the planner, the cost estimator works in close collaboration with the project manager, from project launch through to project closure. Cost monitoring and analysis are part of the project management tools. The cost tracking system will be developed jointly, with the aim of finding the best scenario for :

• facilitate the collection of reliable and relevant information;

• encourage dialogue with both project stakeholders and the organization's permanent structures;

• continuously improve forecast quality ;

• be able to quickly produce understandable dashboards useful for decision-making.
