2. Where to look for inspiration?

By definition, an eco-product has a lower environmental impact at every stage of its life cycle than a competing product, for an equivalent service.

You can draw inspiration from eco-designed products (or eco-products) that have proven their worth in a wide range of applications. Sources of inspiration that are both visual and synthetic are at your disposal, such as :

  • product sheets for products that have won awards for their high environmental quality. Environmental indicators and practical solutions for improvement are listed for each type of product (oven, bag of cement, honey dosing bottle, etc.);

  • examples of eco-products (Eco-design Handbook or Information/Inspiration website) presented by type of application: textiles, packaging, household appliances, furniture, gardening......
