8. Mistakes to avoid
Naming functions with our memory and in the present tense: our way of thinking is always a function of our scientific culture, our personal and professional experiences; to find the terms qualifying the functions, we need to make a real effort.
Since the aim is to find innovative solutions, the working group should be free to imagine all conceivable technological solutions through the correct naming of a function.
For example, for the "desk lamp", if we're talking about energy and "lighting a spot", then you can make an inventory of the energies available. Each energy corresponds to a different technical function (TF) corresponding to the service function (FS) "lighting a spot".
