6. Mistakes to avoid

You don't have to detail every function, but set priorities:

  • focus on functions that cause production problems, scrap or non-conformance;

  • detail only these functions, the others remaining at the level of a module you know perfectly well (cost, manufacturing, etc.). You won't be looking for innovative solutions;

  • postpone your next functional analysis action to devote specific time to reviewing these modules.
