7. Mistakes to avoid

  • Don't deal with the subject at the end of the industrialization process, or when the structuring decisions have been taken: the levers for reacting do exist, but they need to be activated in advance!

  • Don't think you can solve the problem by imposing diversity objectives on the various teams (production, industrialization, research, etc.) from the outset, without having made all these teams aware of the problem as a whole; why not get them to get together and talk?

  • As with any compromise, don't go along with – or – who speaks the loudest, but try to get everyone on board, and if necessary, don't hesitate to ask for arbitration from the top. This advice is all the more valid as you will sometimes be able to demonstrate that a compromise unfavorable to your project is necessary to optimize the company's...
