4. Mistakes to avoid

4.1 Don't focus on the relationship between the client and the subcontractor

Contract subcontracting gives rise to two contractual relationships:

  • between you and the subcontractor ;

  • between you and the project owner.

But there is no contractual relationship between the client and the subcontractor. You remain solely responsible to the client for the conditions under which the subcontractor operates.
