2. Planning project quality assurance locks

As part of the design project planning process, we need to integrate the quality assurance locks, which are the activities of :

  • design review ;

  • design verification ;

  • design validation.

These stopping points are to be planned for in the various stages of product design. The number of reviews, verifications and validations depends on the project itself (size, complexity, stakes, etc.).

Project risk management offers the possibility of reinforcing or reducing the number of locks to be planned. Quality assurance also represents a cost. You need to plan the necessary and sufficient steps.
