1. Understand and understand financing instruments and options

The European Commission provides grants to implement projects or activities under its framework programs. Would you like to benefit from EU support for your innovative projects? The first step is to identify and apply for available funding.

Each year, the Commission's departments issue calls for proposals, which are also published on the Commission's website. These calls for proposals invite interested applicants to formulate a proposal for action within a given timeframe, in line with the objectives pursued and meeting the required conditions. Before March 31st of each year, work programs and grant outlines are made public.

The EU's three main financing instruments are :
