5. Conclusion

The deployment of corporate social networks in organizations is now a reality. Many organizations have implemented them, whether at global, departmental or management level, or even externally with partners, suppliers, customers and so on.

Particularly in the context of global deployments, it's not uncommon to find communities in which members share ideas, comment on them, enrich them, and so on.

In most cases, these spontaneous initiatives have developed without the intervention of innovation managers. Generally speaking, it's a matter of operational staff improving things at local level, thanks in particular to the encouragement of local managers.
