6.1 Stay modest in your ambitions, but practice regularly to make progress
By definition, as an OSINT novice, your investigative skills and technical abilities are limited, especially if you're physically isolated. You can't compete with groups that draw on multiple skills (legal, geopolitical, technical, IT).
Numerous associations exist around the world. But OSINT can be practiced anywhere with a computer. You can respond to occasional or one-off "Hackathon" needs.
Remember that OSINT is a state of mind and a methodology. It's all about taking a different look at your environment, comparing your point of view with others, exercising your memory and your critical mind.
