Is eco-design solely the responsibility of the environmental manager?

Eco-design covers the entire product life cycle. You should therefore set up a multidisciplinary team involving stakeholders from across the entire life cycle: designers, buyers, systems engineers, various quality, safety, and environmental managers, logistics managers, and after-sales service. Each of these entities will contribute their expertise in their respective areas of competence.
