1. What: what is a fab lab?

From a semantic point of view, fab lab is the abbreviation of "fabrication laboratory". This term, with its strong technical connotations, due mainly to the intense use of numerically controlled machines in these places, sometimes conceals the primary reality of fab labs, which is above all to offer socio-technical spaces open to encounters, learning and sharing.
