The "Usages, Symboles, Ouvrage" (Uses, Symbols, Works) approach has emerged from twenty years' experience of managing infrastructure projects, and from sharing with numerous professionals the need to question their practice and push back its limits. This approach is applied to projects of all sizes, from a neighborhood council on a one-off issue to projects involving 100,000 residents.
