Group; group
A group is a human entity with its own purpose, modes of interaction and existence, which makes it distinct from the sum of its individual members. There are two types of group: "groups" and "teams", which are mainly defined in terms of the precision with which they define their objectives and outputs.
Facilitation; facilitation
The purpose of facilitation is to facilitate interaction between members of groups of all sizes, in relation to the objectives and roles they have been, or are, assigned. Facilitation can be oral, visual, open-ended or structured around standard approaches. It does not usually require detailed technical skills in relation to the subjects dealt with in the group.
