1. In a system of temporal and systemic axes, place nine boxes according to three levels of observation

When implementing TRIZ, the first step is to analyze the initial situation of the technical system under study, in terms of its systemic and temporal aspects. TRIZ is a theory based on the evolutionary dynamics of technical systems, and it is therefore necessary to draw the driving forces behind the system's evolution from an analysis of its past evolution.

For this purpose, the basic diagram of a multi-screen analysis comprises nine boxes arranged according to a system of temporal and systemic axes. The central box is reserved for the system observed at the present moment. For example, the tool defined during the construction of the basic "Tool-FPU-Object" triptych could be placed here.
