You regularly search the Internet for specific types of documents (reports, tutorials, conference papers, theses...). These documents, which are often quite long and text-based, rarely appear in the first results proposed by the search engine. To identify them more quickly, add the operator filetype: followed by the file extension to your query words. In this way, you can use :
filetype:pdf to find documents published in PDF format (which may be corporate documents, white papers, strategic documents, etc.);
filetype:docx to identify reports and minutes in Word format;
filetype:pptx to locate PowerPoint files (presentations given at conferences, online courses, etc.);
