3. How do I use PoP?
In practice, PoP will perform the requested search in Google Scholar, then "bring back" the results to PoP for statistical analysis. As a result, PoP can be used to search for one or more names associated with the Boolean operators AND (do not indicate this in the search, simply put the authors' names in sequence and in quotation marks) and OR (to be indicated in the search). You can also search within a given field by combining certain keywords, for example. When a search is performed, it is stored in a cache. If you need to perform the same search at a different time, use the "lookup" search option, which will first review the data in the cache before going to Google Scholar.
