2. Create an alert with Mention

In the Mention interface, alerts are created in the left-hand pane, below the list of existing alerts.

Creating an alert allows you to put a keyword under surveillance, and involves several steps:

  • keyword selection: as with a search engine, select the information to be monitored. You can restrict the search to certain words and forbid others. You must also select the language in which you wish to search;

  • selecting and sorting information: secondly, you need to set certain options to sort information automatically:

    • limit searches to certain sources, such as blogs, but also block websites;

    • choose whether you want Mention to help you sort information automatically. You have two options: either allow Mention...
