4. Design the checklist

The checklist is designed to be used by innovation engineers to check the compliance of their innovation with the environmental requirements defined by the integrator and his team. For each environmental requirement, the associated expert must devise a series of questions to be asked, leading to three types of response.

  • Go: the innovation complies with, or is not concerned by, the environmental requirement.

  • Go with deliverable: the innovation does not comply with the environmental requirement, and a deliverable is expected to bring the innovation into line.

  • No Go: the innovation does not comply with the environmental requirement following the identification of a blocking problem, such as a regulatory issue.
