1. Understanding curation

Curation tools enable you to receive information using a push system. Instead of being overwhelmed by infobesity, and having to pull the information you need, you can automatically retrieve the right information (data in context) selected by curators, who are passionate about the subject, using curation tools. So, for example, you can regularly receive a digital magazine dedicated to the areas you want to monitor: competitors, legislation, taxation, business trends...

The curator finds, distills, aggregates, organizes and shares the online content he or she believes to be the best and most relevant on a specific topic. On a given theme, he or she identifies content sources (sites, blogs, social networks, etc.), sorts out the most relevant and presents them, even commenting on them, on a web medium. He or she edits what he or she finds and shares it on a company...
