6. Process simulation for improved competitiveness

In numerical terms, the simulation of manufacturing processes must take into account many non-linear physical phenomena:

  • materials with elastoplastic or viscoplastic behavior ;

  • high deformation and high deformation speed ;

  • contact between material and tool.
