1. Why carry out reputation and trustworthiness due diligence?

Reputation and Honesty Due Diligence (RHDD) is an in-depth assessment process designed to verify the reputation and integrity of a company or executive before committing to a business relationship or financial transaction. This process includes examining various sources of technical and human information to ensure that the target or potential partner is trustworthy and has no hidden liabilities that could damage its own reputation.

In a world where competition is intensifying as a result of the crisis and globalization, risk factors are diversifying, and trust is eroding. Today, a company is built on two main elements: results and reputation. And, although highly intangible, well-chosen mechanisms such as rumors and attempts at destabilization can seriously dent a reputation so dearly acquired over the years.
