5.1 Call in a professional

Even when a creation is a "non-invention", there are ways of applying for a patent that increase the chances of success in obtaining even fragmentary protection.

Use a professional to draft your patent application.

In all cases, be sure to highlight the specific characteristics and technical effects of each means of protection claimed, and consider alternative means of protection.
