3. Identify twitters to follow in your field
If you want to use Twitter as an intelligence and sourcing tool, you need to create your network and identify the people you're going to follow.
There are a number of ways to do this.
You can use a search engine such as Twitter Search to find twitters who are particularly interested in the topic of your choice. When searching by word, you can display a list of "tweets" containing the words in your query, or "people" who often deal with the subject (presence of the word in their username, bio, etc.).
You can also follow Twitter's suggestions for similar accounts, in a box on your home page.
