1. Identify the features of free bibliometric tools

Bibliometric analysis is mainly used to measure the impact of a publication on the state of research on a given topic worldwide. The main criterion for impact is the citation of an article. But bibliometric tools, which could be translated as "bibliography-measuring tools", don't just measure the impact of a publication.

The bibliometric tools we will describe here will help define :

  • who quotes whom and what (which themes) ;

  • identifying journals that publish in specific areas of expertise;
