4. Using Google Scholar wisely
In short, Google Scholar does not offer sufficient rigor with regard to several criteria such as indexing, search and alert functionalities, confidentiality, time spent on data analysis.
You need to be careful when using it, and use it in conjunction with specialized databases and professional monitoring tools. There are several ways in which you can make the most of Google Scholar:
for an initial search for information, as a starting point for identifying the most frequently cited articles;
