4. Conclusion
The eco-design of maritime structures is part of a development project that is better integrated with the biophysical environment. It is based on recent advances in ecology, civil engineering and ecological engineering, with the aim of achieving desirable planning and sustainable development. This technically and economically pragmatic approach aims to reduce the proven risks of introducing invasive species and reducing biodiversity on "conventionally" designed coastal infrastructures. It is based on promising experimental results from research teams in France and around the world, proving the effectiveness of "nature-based solutions" in bioprotection, combating invasive species and reducing negative ecological impacts. It's also one of the answers to the challenges of climate disruption, by improving the resilience of coastal zones and the storage of CO 2 ...
