4. Presentation of the documentary database

The various articles in the collection approach the theme of medical imaging from three main angles:

• Presentation of different imaging techniques :

  • conventional" X-ray imaging (i.e. excluding CT scans);

  • CT scanner ;

  • MRI;

  • nuclear medicine (PET, SPECT, etc.);

  • ultrasound and Doppler imaging;

  • endoscopy.

  For each of these major specialties, we will focus on describing the underlying physical concepts, the operation of the devices, and the equipment as a whole.
