Anscombe transformation (Anscombe transform)

Image processing that transforms Poissonian noise into Gaussian noise.

Coring

Image noise reduction using contextual nonlinear filtering.

Windowing

Segmentation of the histogram of an image onto a region of interest (ROI).

X-ray window

Period during which the X source emits and the detector integrates.

Recursive filtering

Temporal image filtering for noise reduction.

Fluoroscopy (Fluoroscopy )

Dynamic X-ray imaging (the equivalent of film).
