All health devices implanted in the body (implants) or in direct contact with it (wearables).

CAM (médecines complémentaires et alternatives); complementary and alternative medicines (CAM)

Acupuncture, phytotherapy, essential oils, traditional Chinese medicine and Southeast Asian medicine are considered "alternative" because they are based on "non-scientific" evidence. These practices, of which there are between 400 and 450, can relieve pain and reduce symptoms or anxiety. In some parts of the world, these CAMs are considered official therapies.
