Amylopectin; Amylopectin
Branched component of starch where glucose units are linked by α-D-(1→4) bonds and by α-D-(1→6) branches.
Amylose; Amylose
Linear component of starch containing only α-D-(1→4) bonds between glucose units.
Cyclodextrin; Cyclodextrin
Cyclic oligomer (oligosaccharide) of glucose, derived from the enzymatic degradation of starch, more specifically amylose.
