8.1 Don't overlook the causes of uncertainty
Numerical simulation does not replace reflection on the causes of uncertainty and their probability law. By simulating events that are not representative of reality, we do not obtain a correct assessment of uncertainty according to the "garbage in, garbage out" principle.
