Accreditation; accreditation
Attestation issued by a third party, in relation to a conformity assessment body, constituting formal recognition of the latter's competence to carry out specific conformity assessment activities.
Compétence; skill
Ability to apply knowledge and know-how to achieve desired results. Demonstrated competence is sometimes referred to as a qualification.
Impartiality; impartiality
Existence of objectivity. Objectivity implies either the absence of conflicts of interest, or finding a solution to these conflicts in such a way as not to prejudice the laboratory's future activities.
